Do you ever have one of those nights when you go to bed and an idea for a project jumps in your head. That is what happened to me last night. Usually I roll over and go to sleep hoping desperately to remember the epiphany. Occasionally I decide it's such a worthy idea that I jot or sketch it down in my notepad. However, last night the idea was so strong I could visualize the project from start to end. I kept thinking about it and then couldn't get back to sleep. I ended up getting up with the thought that I'd just "start" the project. Ya right. Once I started I couldn't stop. Next thing I know it's 2:30 in the morning and it dawns on me that I am REALLY going to pay for this late night creativity the next day.
And yes I am tired today but I have a finished layout to show for it! Hehe. Sometimes you just need to do what you gotta do.

ReplyDeleteLove it, Kerry!! Every negative side (insomnia, lost sleep) has the positive flip side (awesome new layout, creative satisfaction). I'm loving your blog - so glad to be in touch with you again! :)

ReplyDeleteLove it! Staying up late paid off :) I can't say I've gotten up to work on a project, but I've stayed up until that time working on one I started earlier in the night. I am a night owl too :)
